Growing up in a miltary family, you can say I've lived all over the United States. I've had the opportunity to live on both east and west coast, the north and the south and even the midwest. I was born October 1985 in Spokane, WA. Two years later in 1987 my family and I moved to Oceanside, CA where we resided for four years. Military orders were handed down and by Summer 1991, we were on the move again. This time we settled in Gurnee, IL, a suburb outside of Chicago. One of my fondest memories of living in Gurnee was the fact that we were minutes away from Six Flags Great America and I got a chance to experience a winter wonderland!
By Summer 1992 my family and I had a new address. Yeesh! All this moving! We moved to Jacksonville, FL, where I honestly thought this might be it. My father had retired from the military, but I guess the moving bug never leaves your system entirely. After nine years, my family wanted a change and we made the move to Montgomery, AL in September 2001. I graduated from Jefferson Davis High School in May 2003 and began college at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in August. May 3, 2008 marked the end of my college career, but importantly the start of what I hope to be a long and flourishing career, whether it be public relations or something quirky and offbeat.
